Matt’s approach
Matt agrees. This syllabus is built around that sentence, in four stages that follow the order you listed yourself:

Self-introduction first, then resume questions, then behavioral questions, then case interviews. Every stage has two layers. The first is what you wrote publicly. The second is what a prepared interviewer finds in ten minutes of reading your posts, your club announcement, and your reposts. Both layers are on this page, because an interviewer at any of your target firms will have done the same reading.

我就是英文太爛才要找老師…“My English is bad, that’s exactly why I’m looking for a teacher…”
You wrote that as a joke in your own thread. The first few sessions test whether it is true, and in which direction. They are not lessons. They measure your comprehension and speed against real-world English: a native interviewer who talks fast, drops syllables, changes the question halfway through, and expects an answer before the translation in your head has finished. Candidates in Taiwan prepare answers. Almost none prepare for that pace. Someone who learns flawless Chinese in Taiwan still meets this wall going the other direction, and it is a separate problem from vocabulary or grammar. The benchmark finds your real gap so every later stage is built on measurement instead of guesswork. Matt is a native speaker. The pace in these sessions is the pace in the room.

Every candidate in Taiwan has had the moment where the interviewer's question ended before the translation did. Matt has been the beginner in the room four times: engineer, founder, developer, Dive Instructor. Each change meant learning a new professional language and earning trust from scratch. That is where you are standing now, and it is a fine place to start.
Stage 1Self-introduction: the natural pass

Natural, fluent, logical. Self-introduction comes first because it is the topic you have to think about least, so it is where your English is most natural and easiest to measure. Two passes.
Pass one is fluency on things you will never say in an interview. Matt interviews you about the club you are founding:

Twenty signatures in the first week of semester is a persuasion problem, so the first mock question is the thirty-second hallway pitch to a stranger, in English. Then the version of that life you would actually want, since you wrote:
不一定要成為 Digital Nomad，但如果你也對這樣的生活有點好奇，歡迎一起來玩！“You don’t have to become a digital nomad, but if you’re a little curious about that kind of life, come and play!”
That life is not hypothetical to Matt. He lives it between Kaohsiung and Phuket and has been to 22 countries on four continents. If the club ever wants someone who lives that way to come and talk, Matt is a message away.
Then the job-alert scraper you reposted, built with Codex in two days, and what you would build in two days. None of this is interview content. All of it forces description, persuasion, speculation, and evaluation at speed, about things you already care about.

Matt lived in Ohio for almost thirty years, in Westerville and Cincinnati. Central Ohio sits in the Midland dialect region, the accent linguists and broadcasters treat as the closest thing to a General American standard. Ohio public radio's own explainer notes the state has three accent regions and that Columbus falls in the Midland, the one usually regarded as General American. Accent-reduction courses in the United States teach that Midland standard. Linguists add a caveat that no accent is truly neutral, and Matt would agree, but it is the accent a candidate is most likely to be measured against in a multinational interview. 1 2 3 4 5 The method is mimicry: you listen, shadow, record, compare, repeat.
And when an English explanation is not landing, Matt switches to Mandarin. He is proficient in spoken Mandarin and taught more than a hundred dive students in it, which is the closest thing on his CV to what you are about to do: perform a technical job in a second language with something at stake.

From the first week you get a written weekly loop: which questions to run with AI, how to record and transcribe them, a short rubric for scoring your own transcripts, and what gets escalated to the session. What AI cannot replace is specific. An AI voice does not interrupt you mid-sentence, change the question halfway through, or go quiet and wait for you to fill the silence. A human interviewer does all three. That is what the live sessions are for.

Pass two is the business-facing version, built only after speed and comprehension are measured and refined. The sixty-second introduction a consulting, FMCG, tech, or finance interviewer expects:

NCCU public finance, the foreign consulting internship, the club as evidence of initiative, the AI practice habit as evidence of self-direction. Same person, different lens. Both passes are recorded and compared, so you can hear the distance between your natural self and your interview self, and close it.

Good. From here your material leads. Matt reads it the way a hiring manager in each of your four industries would, and asks what they would ask. Why public finance. What you actually did at the consulting firm, in sequence, with numbers. Why you founded a club instead of joining one. And the reposts, because a prepared interviewer will have seen them too: a foreign tech company's management trainee program weighed against a McKinsey BA offer, the Sea Group trainee program, and IBM's business consultant hiring. One of those reposts says:

The people who wrote those posts say behavioral and case skills weigh the same, so the resume has to survive both. The goal of this stage is that every line on the page has a spoken version you can deliver at native pace, with follow-ups you have already survived.
What Matt brings to this stage: before coming to Asia from America, he worked at Boston Scientific, L'Oréal USA, and Lone Wolf Technologies, a Vista Equity portfolio company, and interviewed with dozens and dozens of American companies to get there. He has sat through scores of behavioral and resume interviews, on both sides of the table. He studied abroad at Southwestern University of Finance & Economics and Beijing Jiaotong University, so your public finance resume does not need to be simplified for him.

You asked for someone who has been inside these companies. Behavioral questions are where that matters, because the questions cluster by industry. Consulting: why this firm, and a time you changed someone's mind. FMCG: a failure, and what changed after it.
Each maps to a story you already have. Founding a club and collecting twenty signatures is leadership and persuasion. Reading advice in your own thread and rewriting your plan the same night is coachability, and you did it in public:

Setting phased goals is structured thinking. The internship supplies the rest. Every story is drilled at speed with interruptions, because that is how it gets asked.

我很喜歡 Matt 的英文口說課。因為平常工作上雖然有使用英文的機會，但大多是閱讀、寫信或準備比較正式的內容，真正需要用英文自然聊天、即時表達想法的機會其實沒有那麼多。
我覺得 Matt 的課很適合想加強英文口說、但又不希望上課太有壓力的人。他很會延伸話題，不會只是按照固定的教材或題目一直問問題，而是會根據聊天的內容自然地把話題延伸下去，所以整個過程比較像是在跟朋友聊天，而不是很制式的英文課。
對我來說，最大的幫助是讓我更習慣「直接用英文表達」。以前有時候會先想中文，再思考英文要怎麼說，或是因為太在意文法和用字，反而講得比較不順。但在 Matt 的課堂上，可以很自在地先把自己的想法說出來，再慢慢調整表達方式。經過一段時間的練習，我覺得自己在說英文的時候比較不會想太久，也更敢開口。
我也很喜歡 Matt 會分享母語者比較自然的說法。有些句子可能文法沒有錯，但實際聊天時 native speaker 不一定會這樣說，這也是我覺得一對一口說課很有幫助的地方，可以慢慢累積比較生活化、自然的英文表達。
